Vandersarl Bleriot

Bleriot XI

The VanDersarl Bleriot restoration project was completed by Javier Arango in late 2012, The Vandersarl Bleriot XI is the only flyable aircraft of this genre, and it may also be the oldest American-built airplane that still flies. Javier’s Bleriot took to the air for it’s first and successful inaugural flight on November 12, 2012. This book is a compilation of historical information, specs, and restoration photographs throughout the process that Mr. Arango and renowned aerial photographer, Philip “Ghost” Makanna created to commemorate the event.
